The Process

When we cover an event we strive to capture as much of the action as possible including performance events. Far too often events like agility, obedience, and rally are not included in national specialty DVDs and we seek to change that!

In addition to covering the judging of all of the conformation classes, we cover as many of the agility, obedience, rally and other performance events as possible. That means you get to see much more of the event.

Whenever possible we set up multiple video cameras to capture the action from various perspectives. We then edit those different views together to ensure that you see the action from the best possible angle at all times. You don't have to worry about watching video of the judges back anymore!

Our DVD and Blu-ray discs

We use high quality professional video cameras to capture crystal clear high definition video allowing us to offer our videos on Blu-ray discs and DVDs. We use archival quality DVD and Blu-ray discs for our videos which are estimated to last 75 years or more ensuring that your videos will always play.

All of our discs are packaged in high quality cases with full color artwork and labels just like commercial movies. They also contain a full menu system allowing you to quickly and easily navigate to any point in the video.

Each dog featured on our DVD and Blu-ray discs is clearly labeled with on-screen text that does not block your view of the dog.

All of our videos on DVD and Blu-ray are covered under our 30 day satisfaction guarantee. If you have any problems playing our DVD or Blu-ray discs within 30 days of purchase please e-mail us.

We will either replace the discs at no cost to you or refund the purchase cost depending on the nature of the problem.

Streaming Videos

In addition to our DVDs and Blu-ray discs we also offer streaming video coverage of events whenever possible. This allows people virtually anywhere in the world to watch the show on a wide variety of devices.

The Equipment

Our professional video cameras capture video in full high definition at frame rates up to 60 frames per second. Perfect for high-speed events such as agility or for capturing accurate movement during a conformation show.

Whenever possible we set up multiple video cameras to capture the action from various perspectives. This ensures that you will have a good view of the action at all times during the video.

We use high quality microphones to capture the audio at each event and the audio from each microphone is captured separately for easy editing.

At the show

Every evening we make at least two copies of all of our video and each copy is saved to external hard drives which are stored in separate locations to ensure that no video is lost even in the event that one of the drives fails or is lost.

We then catalog the video, organize the raw footage, and then begin making a rough cut of the video.

In the studio

When we arrive back at our editing workstation, we make additional copies of the video and audio. We then carefully edit the separate video and audio recordings together to provide the best possible view of the show.

The final video is then encoded using high quality MPEG 2 and H.264 codecs and then authored onto DVD and Blu-ray discs.

During the disc authoring process we carefully place markers within the video for easy navigation and build a custom menu for each disc. This allows you to easily navigate to any particular point in the final video.

We burn the final videos to archival quality DVD and Blu-ray discs which are estimated to last 75 years or more. This ensures that your videos will always play.
